The Best Concealer

Unfortunately  I have inherited very very dark under eye circles. It has been a problem my whole life and then I became old enough to wear makeup and have tried hundreds of different concealers to try cover up the darkness! For some reason liquid concealers don’t sit well on my skin and they just crease or run. Then I stumbled across this…

Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer, £10.00 at Boots

This concealer is amazing.. And I mean truly amazing! It comes as 3 parts, there is 2 concealer colours and a setting powder. Firstly I apply the lighter colour which is quite lightweight. Then I add the darker colour which is very creamy and thick and sits on the skin really well. I then add the setting powder which keeps it in place beautifully.

As you can see it covers my dark circles perfectly. There is a slight crease under my eye however this is natural (I dare say wrinkles). Although the concealer is £10 it is well worth it.. It usually lasts me about 3-4 months as its so thick you only need to use a small amount.

Soap & Glory are definitely one of favourite cosmetic brands!

My favourite skincare products

So many of us have tried countless lotions and potions to give us beautiful radiant skin but it never seems to work.. I have tried so many day creams, night creams, serums however my all time favourites are these beauties..

Nivea Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream, £6.29 at Boots

Nivea Q10 Anti Wrinkle Day Cream, £4.95 at Superdrug

Nip and Fab Dragons Blood Fix Plumping Serum, Currently on offer for £9.95 at Superdrug

The Nivea Q10 day cream was suggested to me by an old colleague, she was 45 and had the best skin.. I honestly thought she was much younger and she had told me that she’d been using it since she was 20. Since then i have been using it everyday. It smells great and the formula is not heavy or greasy at all, it just melts away into the skin and it feels like your not wearing anything at all.

I decided to get the eye cream because of how great the day cream was and this is very similar. There is no scent however it disappears without making your skin feel heavy especially in such a sensitive area of your face.

I had read some good reviews about Nip and Fab and i went to Superdrug and saw it was on offer for £9.95 which is brilliant considering it usually retails for £19.95 so i decided to give it a try. This is probably one of the best serums I’ve used. It smells amazing and feels so luxurious and velvety on the skin. It just soaks in without any heaviness and also leaves your skin looking and feeling great.

Every morning i apply the serum, the eye cream and the day cream before my makeup. They are the fab trio i can not go without and since I’ve been using them my skin feels great. I would honestly recommend to anyone and even my mum has started using them. I only use a small amount each morning and a little goes a very long way..
